There will be a period of planned downtime on the BSC Central Systems from 20:00 (BST) to 22:00 (BST) on Tuesday 9 September 2025.  The outage is required for infrastructure maintenance on the BSC Central Systems and will affect the Energy Contract Volume Aggregation Agent (ECVAA), Settlement Administration Agent (SAA) and the Elexon Insights Solution. Communication Network: Market participants' FTP access from the Low-Grade and High-Grade networks to the Participant FTP Server will be unavailable. It will not be possible to submit or receive any files via FTP during this window. Elexon Insights Solution: The outage will impact most of the data published on the Elexon Insights Solution and data normally received from NESO will not be updated via the website, APIs, and the IRIS Service. After the outage recovery, all datasets will be available on the Insights Solution. Energy Contract Volume Aggregation Agent (ECVAA): The ECVAA and ECVAA Web Service (EWS) will be impacted by the planned downtime. Energy Contract Volume Notification (ECVN) and Metered Volume Reallocation Notification (MVRN) to ECVAA will be blocked and the ECVAA Credit Cover Percentage check will also be suspended. Following completion of the outage, the ECVAA Credit Cover Percentage check will be enabled and submission of ECVNs and MVRNs will be processed as normal. What do I need to do?You will need to arrange to submit any notifications, ECVNs or MVRNs before the start of the planned outage. Please do this as early as possible to reduce the risk of missing the Submission Deadline. Will I continue to receive ECVAA reports as normal? No, the ECVAA Forward Contract Report, scheduled to run at 22:00 (BST) will be suspended. The report will instead be run after the planned downtime.
